Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof Kodandaram was arrested at Allapur tollgate in Kamareddy district. Kodandram was on his way as part of Amarveerula Spurti yatra. Later he was shifted to Koudipalli police station.
On hearing the arrest news, TJAC leaders gathered at Koudipalli police station demanding release of Kodandaram. There was mild tension in front of the police station.
The police was conducting search operation led by Medak SP following reports that Yatra would pass on through Allapur tollgate Kodandram.(NSS)
