TNSF Stir Against High Fee in Corporate Schools, Colleges

Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF) has decided to hold dharna in front of office of District Educational Officer (DEO) on June 21 in protest against collection of exorbitant fees by corporate educational institutions in Telangana state.

This decision was taken at a  workshop of TNSF held at NTR trust bhavan here today,  under the leadership of TNSF president Ch Madhusudhan Reddy.

 

The TNSF demanded the TRS government to amend the GO issued by finance minister in connection with reimbursement of Rs 3200 crore of scholarship and fees, besides providing basic facilities in government educational institutions. The TNSF would also lay siege to the collector offices in support of its demand. If the government failed to respond, state bandh call would be given in July.

 

In the workshop,  it was decided to continue fight against injustice in education sector and to set up committees at mandal, district and university levels. The TNSF also decided to  enrol five lakh members  in Inter, Degree and Universities to strengthen the organisation.

 

Besides madhusudhan Reddy, national committee member Ramesh, state general secretaries S Prasad, P Ravinder and district presidents Shart, Raghukiran , Kishore Reddy, Sumanth, Bhumaiah, Narender, Rangaraj, Santosh Naik, Srikanth, Balu, Avinash, OU TNSF leaders Charugonda Venkatesh, Babulal Naik, Pullarao yadav and others attended the workshop.(NSS)
