TPCC OBC leaders today celebrated Rahul Gandhi’s anointment as Congress president in Gandhi Bhavan. They distributed sweets to each other and burst crackers and danced to the drum beats.
TPCC OBC department chairman Chittaranjan Das and State convener T Rajeshwar extended warm greetings to Rahul Gandhi on his unanimous election as AICC president, they exhorted every party worker to work hard in every village in the State and ensure party’s landslide in the ensuing 2019 general elections.
Stating that party programs were becoming successful in the State under the dynamic leadership of TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, the OBC leaders said Revanth Reddy’s entry strengthened the Congress party and enthused youths. They exuded confidence that the party would sweep the elections in the entire country in 2019 and Rahul Gandhi would become young Prime Minister. (NSS)
