Hooghly: In a shameful incident recorded on CCTV camera, a member of Trinamool Congress Chhatra (TMC) Parishad was seen hitting a girl.
The victim was assaulted inside Rishra Bidhan College’s premises in West Bengal’s Hooghly. Caught on CCTV camera, the incident took place on December 4 last year inside the Union Room of the college.
A complaint was registered against TMC student wing’s leader by the girl. Identified as Shahid Hassan Khan, general secretary of Trinamool Chhatra Parishad is the son of TMC leader, Jahid Hassan Khan.

According to the victim, she was harassed and heckled many times by the offender.
Shahid can be seen slapping the girl and trying to hit her with a glass cover. He also kicked and thrashed the victim many times.
Other students were also present in the room but no one came forward to her rescue.
