New Delhi: Muslim intellectuals, scholars and Muslim organisations are not satisfied with the present form of proposed triple talaq bill. Triple talaq has been declared void and is still declared as non-bailable offence. There are many other loopholes too in the bill.
Maulana Asrar ul Haq Qasmi had tried that the triple talaq bill should not be passed in the present form in Rajya Sabha. His efforts yielded result. Maulana Qasmi himself met Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and apprised her of the damages and shortcomings of triple talaq bill.
Maulana Asrar ul Haq Qasmi told that they are making all efforts that the triple talaq bill in its present form should not be passed, because it is against the shariah and destructive for the rights of Muslim women.
