Triple talaq victim Reshma accepts Hindu dharma, marries Hindu man; Sanatan Sanstha terms it ‘ghar wapsi’

Pilibhit: A 29-year-old Muslim woman of Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, who was divorced by her husband using the instant triple talaq, has decided to quit Islam and accept Hindu Dharma and marry a Hindu man. Reshma changed her name to Rani Rathod and married a Hindu man named Dipu.

As reported by the Daily Hunt, Reshma’s ex-husband divorced her on April 5, 2019. She was allegedly molested by her husband and his family members and they threw her out on the streets. When her family tried to patch up the matter the husband’s family referring to Sharia law told her to perform ‘halala’.

Meanwhile, Reshma came in contact with Deepak and both decided to marry. As per the report, Reshma was married to M Raees at Naugaon Pakdiya. The couple had a 2-year-old, daughter, but her husband had not given the daughter’s custody to Reshma.

Spiritual Guru of Sanathan Dharm Sanstha who solemnized the marriage termed it ghar wapsi of Reshma.
