TRS govt illegally expelled two Cong MLAs, Kuntia complains to Guv

Telangana Congress affairs in-charge RC Kuntia has said the TRS government had undemocratically expelled two Congress MLAs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and SA Sampath Kumar.

The State government was not implementing the verdict of the High Court, which said the TRS government’s decision was not valid, he said. The Congress leaders met Governor ESL Narasimhan today on the issue and submitted a memorandum urging him to protect democracy in the State. Congress leaders K Jana Reddy, Shabbir Ali, Bhatti Vikramarka, Ponnala Laxmaiah, Dr J Geetha Reddy, DK Aruna, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy and others were present.

Speaking on the occasion, CLP leader K Jana Reddy said giving an opportunity to the BJP in Karnataka was undemocratic act and giving an opportunity to take up the power by JDS-Congress alliance was democratic act. (NSS
