Telangana TDP politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy has alleged that the TRS government neglected education, health and agriculture sectors during its four-year rule.

Speaking to the media here today, Ravula accused the State government of not giving importance to key sectors like of Education, Health and Agriculture during last four years. He said the State government failed to fill 26,000 vacant teachers’ posts in the State, and quoted some NGOs surveys that some eight to ten lakh students have dropped out from school in primary education in the State.

Faulting the method of transfers of teachers, Ravula said transfers have been made this year after beginning of education year and new recruitment of teachers has not been taken up by the government. Some 1,600 schools have not a single teacher, he alleged. He also said the State government was not giving priority to Health department and failed to take any preventive steps to control communicable diseases.
