TRS Govt serious on giving jobs to unemployed youth: KTR

Municipal Administration Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Monday indirectly targeted TJAC chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram stating that some politically unemployed people were trying to incite jobless youth in Telangana State.

Addressing a meeting after inaugurating 220/132 KV Sub-Station in Peddur mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district, KTR advised youth not to get misled by anyone. He said that the TRS Government has been making serious efforts to fill vacancies in various departments. He said the recruitment process was being carried out through Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) in a transparent manner. However, he alleged that some people were trying to defame the government by inciting jobless youth.

KTR said that the youth should not get misled and avoid the path of agitation. He said that the State would get good investments only if there was total peace. He said presently there was no problem of Law & Order in the State and Telangana has emerged as a model for the entire country.

The minister also promised sufficient funds for the weavers in the next budget. He also listed out various schemes being implemented by the State Government.

Addressing the same meeting, Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy said that the TRS Government has overcome the energy crisis within one year of coming to power. He said that the TRS Government has not only fulfilled all the promises that it made with the people in just two years, but also introduced several new schemes which were not promised in the manifesto.
