Hyderabad: TRS MLC and party spokesperson Palla Rajeshwar Reddy today claimed that people in large numbers were responding to the TRS membership scheme and the drive was in full swing across all districts and segments.
Talking to mediapersons in Khammam on Wednesday, Rajeswhar Reddy said they would complete membership drive by July 15 in the villages, mandals and form committees. “We will expand our party to all segments, villages, mandals and districts and implement schemes of welfare in a perfect manner. “Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao aims to deliver fruits of development to every family in the State”, he asserted. Every committee will have not less than 51 per cent of SC, ST, BCs, he said.
He also said the KCR Government was offering free power to farm sector but the same was not being offered in BJP-ruled States, he said. With active participation of MLAs, MLCs, local leaders and party in-charges, the membership drive was in full swing and efforts were being made to expand the party in nook and corner, he said. The TRS will achieve target of at least 50,000 membership in all the segments. He appealed to the legislators to complete the membership drive as per schedule by involving local leaders.
