Telangana Rashtra Samithi is likely to announce the first list of candidates for the forthcoming elections for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation by Monday.
According to sources, the first list of about 45-50 candidates has already been finalised on Saturday and the same would be announced after taking approval from Chief Minister and TRS President K. Chandrashekar Rao. A heavy rush of tickets aspirants was witnessed at Telangana Bhavan and at the residences of State ministers and other leaders.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister held meetings with the ministers and different leaders of Greater Hyderabad to finalise the candidates. He also had a discussion on the party’s Mayor candidate.
The TRS is likely to announce the candidates in three phases. (INN)
