TRS will bag 100 seats & remain in power: KTR

Hyderabad: The TRS leadership today exuded confidence of retaining power by winning more than 100 seats in the Assembly polls while the national media gave a clear verdict, according to Caretaker Minister KT Rama Rao. “Our party will win 100 seats, which was more than what the media groups given, he said. He also described former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal’s survey as a farce and meaningless survey.

Talking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan along with his colleagues T Srinivas Yadav, P Mahender Reddy and Dr C Lakshma Reddy, KT Rama Rao said that the dreams of becoming chief minister by the congress leaders will remain so. Terming the congress and TD alliance as unholy and opportunistic, KTR extended thanks to the people, TRS leaders and the workers for voting for the ruling party. The Congress alliance was showing lame ducks on strong rooms and EVMs as its defeat was sure in the polls on the day of vote counting.

“We will celebrate the victory on December 11 when the results will be announced”, he said. The top leaders of the Congress will face bad time of debacle after the announcement of results on December 11. The Congress felt loss with TD alliance and gave ads on the last two days of the polls to the media without Chandrababu Naidu’s photograph, KTR said. The exit polls surveys gave clear edge for the ruling party and the TRS will retain power, he said.

Lagadapati Rajagopal will take sanyas from poll surveys after the results of the Assembly polls. “We have strong support from people and nothing to do with the strong rooms and comments of the Congress alliance.
