TRS worker commits suicide, urges people to make KCR CM again

Hyderabad: A Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) worker allegedly committed suicide after writing a note requesting the people to make TRS chief KC Rao the chief minister of the state again.

According to Bachupally Police, the person named Guruvappa committed suicide by hanging himself at a party office set up by him at Rajeev Gruhakalpa in Quthbullapur.

“We had received information about the suicide. We recovered a suicide note in which he stated that KCR should become CM again and local assembly candidate should win with the majority of votes and asked public not to let Telangana get into the hands of others,” Bachupally police, informed, while sharing details of the incident and the contents of the suicide note that has been found.

The deceased’s body was later shifted to the local government hospital for the post-mortem examination.

A case has been registered under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and further probe is on.

The Telangana State Assembly was dissolved prematurely by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

The Telangana Legislative Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on December 7 to elect members from 119 constituencies. The counting of votes will take place on December 11.
