Trump offers protection to North Korea in return for denuclearization

Washington D.C. [U.S.A]: United States President Donald Trump has given an offer to North Korea to adopt denuclearisation and get rewarded with protection.

As per media reports, Trump who had been a long supporter of denuclearisation of North Korea, said that in return of abandoning nuclear weapons, the United States would provide it with protection against any kind of attacks.

He further said that the upcoming US-North Korea is bound to happen as scheduled refuting reports about North Korea to cancel the summit due to on-going military deals between the US and South Korea.

Earlier North Korea had argued its need of nuclear weapons to secure itself.

Trump also suggested that China might be influencing the decisions of North Korea citing that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un had visited China immediately after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo came back.

The United States, Japan, South Korea, and China had together called for denuclearisation of North Korea. Following that, North Korea dismantled its nuclear site Pyyungg-ri.

Now the United States and North Korea are scheduled to hold a bilateral summit on June 12 in Singapore. Talks regarding denuclearisation are expected to take place in the summit. (ANI)
