Trump rallies behind Minnesota candidate Pete Stauber

Minneapolis: United States President Donald Trump has reiterated his support for Minnesota congressional candidate Pete Stauber.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Trump emphasized that Stauber has a strong knowledge regarding crime and borders and that he would surely make a great Congressman.

“Pete Stauber is running for Congress in Minnesota. He will make for a great Congressman. Pete is strong on crime and borders, loves our Military, Vets and Second Amendment. Vote for Pete tomorrow,” the US president tweeted while also urging voters to vote for him in the Grand Old Party (GOP) primary elections in the country.

Both Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, from time to time, have extended their support to Stauber. While Trump had campaigned for Stauber in June, the Vice President appeared at a fundraiser organised by Stauber.

Stauber, who serves as a St. Louis County Minnesota commissioner besides being a retired Duluth police officer, will run for the northeastern Minnesota seat being vacated by Democratic Rep. Rick Nolan during the upcoming GOP primary elections. (ANI)
