TS: Alleged medical negligence takes another life, woman dies during surgical operation

Hyderabad: In yet another alleged medical negligence case, a woman died in a private hospital. The relatives of the deceased approached State Minorities Commission which recommended ex-gratia for the legal heirs of the deceased.

According to the details, Sabiha Begum died in a private hospital at Vikharabad during the surgical operation.

In his report, Collector of Vikharabad District mentioned that the woman died due to the negligence of the doctors. On the basis of the medical report, Chairman of Minorities Commission, Mr. Mohammed Qamaruddin recommended for an ex-gratia of Rs. 5 lakh. He also suggested that a double bedroom flat be given to the relatives of the deceased.
