New Delhi: President of TS Congress, Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Leader of Opposition in TS Legislative Council, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir and other TS Congress leaders called on Mr. Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi and expressed their greetings on his assuming charge as President of AICC.
Present on this occasion were in-charge of TS Congress, Mr. RC Kantia, working President of TS Congress Committee, Mr. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarak, Komat Reddy, Venkat Reddy, Ms. D.K. Aruna, Mr. Revanth Reddy, Dr. Geeta Reddy, Ateeq Siddiqui, Anjan Kumar Yadav, Poonam Prabhakar and others.
Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy while congratulating Mr. Rahul Gandhi expressed his good wishes. Mr. Shabbir said that with Mr. Rahul Gandhi assuming charge as president of AICC, a new era would begin.
Mr. Rahul Gandhi in his first presidential speech declared that stern action would be taken against those who spread hatred and incite communal feelings. He advised them to honour the sentiments of other religions.
