TS deprived in awarding Bharat Ratna, slams Kodandarm

Hyderabad: Prof. Kodandaram, Chairman of Telangana Jana Sena Samithi alleged that a discrimination has been made to Telangana in giving ‘Bharat Ratna’ awards.

He stressed the need for Mr. Rajat Kumar, Chief Electoral Officer for discharging his duties according to the Constitution of India instead of advising the public to follow constitution.

Prof. Kodandaram pointed out that India has the largest written constitution in the entire world. He also told that by following the constitution in letter and spirit, India should have witnessed revolution but in practice, justice is not being imparted to people.

He pointed out that Mr. Rajat Kumar is not above the constitution.

He further told that there is no need for Mr. Rajat Kumar to advise the people to follow constitution. He should not tell us what to do and when to do, he said.

Instead of offering clarifications on the allegations leveled on account of irregularities in electoral rolls, he is suggesting the voters to approach the court. It is a ridiculous suggestion.
