Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao said that the State Government has been moving in the right direction to achieve its goal of providing irrigation facility to one crore acres of land across Telangana State.
Addressing the Dassehra celebrations in Siddipet on Saturday, Harish Rao said all the irrigation projects would be completed on time and in the next two-three years, the target of one crore acres of irrigation would be achieved.
Harish Rao said that TRS Government was implementing several welfare schemes and all farmers would be provided annual input subsidy of Rs. 8,000 per acre from next year onwards. He appealed to the opposition parties to support the TRS Government in its welfare measures.
