TS on growth path with Jayashankar ideals: KTR

MAUD and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today stated that Telangana State was heading towards great heights under the able leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao following the ideals of late Prof Jayashankar.

Along with ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and party leaders at Telangana Bhavan, KT Rama Rao paid rich tributes by garlanding the statue of Prof. Jayashankar to mark his death anniversary. Speaking on the occasion, KTR said the State adopted the ideology of late professor for inclusive growth and welfare of the poor. He also said Prof. Jayashankar had pitched for achieving statehood and created awareness among four crore people of Telangana for self rule.

KTR said the TRS Government honored Prof. Jayashankar by naming a district and a university after him. KTR also pointed out that achieving water, funds and jobs was real tribute to the departed soul. The State was moving ahead in that direction under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister KCR. “However, all of us express grief and pain as Jayashankar could not see statehood of Telangana for which he guided the protracted struggle.
