TSRTC crew sore with CM’s “threat”

Finding fault with the State government’s belligerent attitude towards TSRTC employees’ demand for pay hike, Employees’ JAC chairman Raji Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao cannot threaten the employees when they sought a hike in salaries. He said they are not afraid of the Chief Minister’s threats.

Participating in a Telangana RTC JAC round table here on Monday to discuss the employees’ salaries and their problems, Raji Reddy alleged that the State government was trying to privatize the RTC. Reminding that the RTC employees achieved their rights by protracted struggle, he said they would gather support from intellectuals and other political parties after meeting with them. (NSS)
