TTDP leaders, Revanth meet Naidu, explain their stands

Hyderabad: The issue of TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy was taking new turn everyday as party’s national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu postponed his decision for a day.

The Telangana TDP leaders and central committee members called on Chandrababu Naidu at Lake View Guest house after his return from abroad. Naidu was apprised of the developments, including reports that Revanth Reddy may quit the party and join Congress.

Revanth Reddy also met Chandrababu Naidu and made his position clear and gave explanation on the developments in the party in his absence.

Chandrababu Naidu sought information from both the TTDP leaders and Revanth Reddy. He is likely to meet TTDP leaders once again on Saturday at Amaravati before taking a final decision on Revanth Reddy, sources said.

The meeting held at Lake View guest was attended by TTDP president L Ramana, MLA R Krishnaiah, Ravula Chandrasekhara Reddy, Motkupally Narasimhulu, Sitakka, Garikpati Venkateshwar Rao, Nama Nageshwar Rao, Uma Madhav Reddy, Revuri Prakash Reddy, Arvind Kumar Goud and others.

Ramana said a final decision on Revanth Reddy episode would be taken by party supremo very soon. (NSS)
