TTDP to raise 21 issues in Assembly: Revanth

Hyderabad: Telangana TDP working president and MLA Revanth Reddy has said they would raise issues of public importance in the Assembly during the Budget session.
Speaking to mediapersons at NTR trust bhavan here on Tuesday, Revant Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should have discussed with the Opposition before leaving for Mumbai for signing agreements with Maharashtra government on much-talked about irrigation projects across the Godavari river.
He also alleged that in the name of re-designing of irrigation projects, the ruling party leaders were involved in corruption to the tune of several crore of rupees. The Prahanita-Chevella project was estimated to cost Rs 35,000 crore originally, but its cost escalated to Rs 85,000 crore due to inordinate delay, Revanth Reddy said. He also said his party would raise 21 issues of public importance including drought, scarcity of drinking water in villages and double bed room scheme, he added.
T TDP leaders Sithakka and Boda Janardhan were also present. (NSS)
