Turkey ‘neutralises’ 9 PKK terrorists

Ankara: Nine Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorists have been ‘neutralised’ by the Turkish army troops in Northern Iraq as reported by a security personnel on Thursday.

The word ‘neutralised’ is used by the Turkish authorities to imply that the terrorists have either surrendered or were killed or captured.

The terrorists were neutralised at Northern Iraq’s Hakurk region while they were reportedly plotting to carry out an attack on Turkish military bases, as reported by the Anadolu Agency.

The terrorists were spotted by military drones in Yuksekova in southeastern Hakkari province, the source added.

Turkish Armed Forces have neutralised 50 terrorists in northern Iraq since March 10.

PKK has been declared a terror organization by Turkey, US, and the European Union. (ANI)
