Tweeple elated at Pak reporter Chand Nawab’s comeback

New Delhi: Popular Pakistani reporter Chand Nawab, who is known for his unique style of reporting, is back again- this time, to speak about paan, Karachi and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president, Shahbaz Sharif.

As in case of his first video, this one, too, has grabbed eyeballs on social media over the last two days.
Sharing the video on Twitter, a user wrote “Chand Nawab rocks yet again but this time not for ‘apno mein Eid manane’ (to celebrate the festival of Eid with one’s near and dear)”

Nawab made headlines first in 2008, when an unedited video of him trying to piece to camera (P2C) on a stairway at a railway station was uploaded on the internet.

Soon after, social media went berserk, but at the same time, appreciated his commitment towards finishing the task at hand, despite being repeatedly interrupted by passenger movement at the railway station.

Owing to Nawab’s rising popularity, filmmaker Kabir Khan, inspired by the former, included the same in his 2015 Salman Khan-starrer, Bajrangi Bhaijaan (played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui), following which his popularity soared new heights, and reportedly helped him bag a number of commercials.

A second video of Nawab went viral in February this year, where he was seen promoting actor Ali Zafar’s film, once again amidst constant interruption.

” Breaking news! Braking news! Biraking news! Mr. Chaand Nawab. #TeefaKaunHai #TeefaInTrouble,” the actor tweeted.

Meanwhile, the Karachi reporter, in the third video, can be seen reporting from a paan shop, in his own unique style, with stammers and repetitions, and filmed from different angles.

In the end, Nawab signs off by gobbling up a large chunk of paan.

Twitterati have extensively shared the video of “the legend”.

Singer Adnan Sami shared the video and said ” Chand Nawab Strikes Again! Too cute!

“Chand Nawab is back with paan, Karachi and Shahbaz Sharif” added journalist Naila Inayat.

” Chand in Action #ChandNawab,” wrote another journalist, Saqib Ul Islam.
