New Delhi: BJP MPs in CM Mehbooba Mufti’s government have offered to step down from their positions top sources within the saffron party confirmed.
According to the sources, the saffron party has no plans to end their alliance with Mehbooba’s People’s Democratic Party and few BJP MPs in the government are willing to step down from their respective positions. The State BJP president Sat Sharma shall take decide upon the resignations.
The new development in the party comes just two days after two BJP Ministers- Industries Minister and Forest Minister stepped down from their positions over controversy for attending a rally in support of recent Kathua gangrape.
