Two held with narcotic drug, 2 kg ganja seized

Hyderabad: Today, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone, nabbed two persons at Balram Galli in Mangalhat here for carrying a narcotic substance and seized two kg ganja and two Cell phones from their possession.

The accused were identified as Arun, 42-year-old auto driver, a native of Lathore in Maharastra, residing at Karwan and Mohan Singh, 31, of Balram Galli, Mangalhat and one Mahender Singh of Dhoolpet was absconding.

Police said about ten years ago Arun migrated to Hyderabad from Lathore in Maharastra and working as auto driver for eking his livelihood. He befriended Mohan Singh, who was working as binding work. The duo observed that by purchasing and selling ganja in Hyderabad gets huge money and started the drug pedaling business. Arun was previously arrested in 51 arrack cases. In the month of December 2015 he went to jail under PD Act and was released from jail after six months.

When in jail, Arun met Mahender Singh, who was in jail in a Ganja case. After release from jail, Arun used to purchase Ganja from Mahender Singh and used to sell the same to Mohan Singh. On Thursday, Arun came to Mohan Singh’s house and were trying to sell Ganja in front of Mohan Singh’s house. But the police surfaced and nabbed them along with two kg ganja. (NSS)
