Two including Nigerian arrested with cocaine in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Two suspects were arrested including one Nigerian National on Saturday with 12 gms of cocaine. Excise officials had busted the drug racket and nabbed the two of them.

Bernard Wilson claimed he was a BCA student in Osmania University, while the other one, Mohammad Zeeshan Ali Khan, 27, is an event manager and founding partner of ‘F Productions’, an event management company. The officials said that Zeeshan used to manage high profile events like Nikhi Chinnappa’s (of MTV fame) gigs in Hyderabad.

As per a report by DC, “based on a tip-off, we arrested Zeeshan Ali Khan outside new ITC Kakatiya Hotel. His confession revealed the details of his Nigerian aide, Wilson. We got five grams of cocaine from Zeeshan, and 7 grams of cocaine from Wilson,” said A. Ajay Rao, Deputy Commissioner, Excise Department.

“Wilson used to get the cocaine in bulk via a private courier service from another Nigerian friend abroad. We are still investigating about the place from where exactly the drug was being sent from,” said Mr Rao.

Wilson, who is staying in India on an expired visa, was once arrested by Golconda police in 2012 for another drug case.
