New Delhi: Soon after two cities in India have placed a temporary ban on PUBG Mobile game as youngsters are distracted and were no longer paying attention to their academics, losing complete interest ahead of board exams.
Gir Somnath and Bhavnagar followed Rajkot and Surat in the same state Gujarat in placing the temporary ban on the online game ahead of board exams.
Legal action will be initiated under Section 188 of IPC (Indian Penal Code) against violators as the ban will continue to be effective until March 30.
Not only violators will be arrested but also those showing violent behaviour, causing physical hurt, threat to human life will be prosecuted under section 188, IBT times reports.
Though there is so far no scientific evidence backing the violent behavior in players of this game but there are actually several cases of violence and suicidal behaviour shown by school kids and also adults playing this game particularly in India.
Only a few days back a student killed himself as his parents denied to buy a phone to play PUBG game and in another related development, a bridegroom attacked his fiancée’s brother, as the latter could find the charger, as his phone’s battery had drained.
