Amaravati: Two sisters, Shakira and Fatima made an attempt to commit suicide in front of A.P. Secretariat at Amaravati on Tuesday.
Later, secretariat employees rushed them to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment.

According to the details, Mehboob Peeran who was working as VEO in Agriculture Dept. in Nandiyal died 20 years back. His widow and three daughters contacted the officials for getting jobs on compassionate grounds but they failed to get jobs or ex-gratia.
Out of the three girls, two got married whereas the third daughter is unmarried. She is being refused a job continuously. Her mother made an attempt more than 10 times to meet CM of AP, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu but security officials did not allow her entry into Secretariat.
Vexed with these circumstances, Shakira and Fatima made an attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in front of the secretariat. They demanded justice from TDP Govt.
