Dubai: It seems that the UAE is also facing a rise in the number of crime against women. In one such incident, a man sexually harassed a 15-year-old girl at a mall in Dubai.
According to the report published in Khaleej Times, a 31-year-old salesman allegedly groped and touched the girl after finding her mother busy talking to another employee.
After leaving the shop, the girl informed about the incident to her mother.
A CCTV which was located in the mall captured the incident. In the footage, he was also seen touching himself inappropriately.
As per the information furnished by the police, the accused said that he was helping the girl try on a dress. He also said that he might have touched her accidentally.
The verdict is likely to be pronounced on 28th February.
