UAE: Indian origin Christian arranges Iftaar for 800 Muslim workers daily

Dubai: An Indian origin Christian got a masjid constructed in UAE for Muslim workers. This year, he is arranging Iftaar every day for 800 workers.

The name of this Christian youth is Saji Cherian. When he went to UAE in 2003, he had only a petty amount. Today, he is in a position to host iftaar for 800 Muslim workers. He arranges this at an air-conditioned convention center.

Mr. Cherian told that the Masjid was inaugurated on the 17th day of Ramadan last year, so he could get only 13 days for arranging Iftaar. This year, he hopes to host Iftaar for 29-30 days.

The menu of the Iftaar includes dates, fried refreshment, fruit juice, drinking water and biryani.
