DUBAI: An employee in United Arab Emirates has been sacked and deported for allegedly posting an insensitive comment on Facebook celebrating the the mass slaying of Muslims in New Zealand terror attacks, Reuters reported.
The man, whose name, nationality, and position not disclosed was employed at Transguard, which is affiliated with the Emirates Group was fired from his job for making “inflammatory comments on his personal Facebook account celebrating the deplorable mosque attack” in Christchurch.
In a statement on their official website, Transguard said –
“Over the weekend, a Transguard employee made inflammatory comments on his personal Facebook account celebrating the deplorable mosque attack in Christchurch, New Zealand. This prompted an internal investigation, which uncovered the fact that the individual in question had been posting his views on social media under an assumed name.”

“We have a zero-tolerance policy for the inappropriate use of social media, and as a result this individual was immediately terminated and turned over to the authorities to face justice,” Managing Director Greg Ward said on Tuesday.
At least 50 people were martyred and dozens left critically wounded at two mosques in Christchurch on Friday after a lone Australian white supremacist attacke them.
The attacks sparked global revulsion and drew condemnation from the United Arab Emirates.
