UAE: Woman allegedly gangraped by three youths

Al Ain: In an incident which took place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), three youths allegedly gang-raped a woman. The accused are aged between 17 and 25.

According to the report published in Khaleej Time, the accused abducted her from the street of Al Ain City, UAE. After the incident, police arrested the youths who are Arab. The victim is Asian.

As per the documents of the court, the accused abducted the victim after midnight. They raped the victim after taking her to a desert area.

The victim who is an employee in a shopping mall in Al Ain City was abducted after she left her workplace, prosecutors said.

As per the victim’s statement, she had screamed for help. She even tried to offer money to the accused but they refused. They took her to the desert area and allegedly raped her one after other. Later, they dropped her at the place from where they abducted her.

After returning home, the victim informed her husband about the incident. The couple approached the police station and filed a case. With the help of footage of CCTV cameras, police traced the youths.

During police interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. However, when they were produced in the court, they denied the charges. Court to continue hearing the case on a future date.
