Unemployment Allowance, ENT-Dental Care, Pensions Hike Proposed

Hyderabad: The Government proposes to introduce unemployment allowance of Rs.3,016 per month to the eligible people, and Rs.1810 Crore is allocated in the Budget for 2019-20, the Chief Minister KCR announced in the State Assembly today, while presenting the vote on account Budget. This is to redeem yet another election promise, he said adding that the details of the scheme are being worked out. Instructions have been issues to officials in this regard.

KCR has also announced that on the lines of Kanti Velugu, special camps would be organised throughout the State for detecting ailments related to Ear, Nose, Throat and Dental. Towards fulfillment of this promise, Government is making all arrangements. Rs.5536 Crore is proposed in the budget for the health sector, he added.

The chief Minister announced that in fulfillment of the promise, the Aasara pensions to aged, widowed, single women, beedi workers, today tappers are proposed to be increased from Rs.1,000 per month to Rs.2,016. For differently abnled persons, it was proposed to increase the montly pensions from Rs.1,500 to Rs.3,016. “We are reducing the age limit for old age pensions from 65 years to 57 years. This will benefit more people”, he added.

ST Development Fund –Rs.9,827 crore
Minorities Welfare – Rs.2004 crore
Farm Loan Waiver – Rs.6000 crore
Rythu Bandhu – Rs.12,000 Crore
Rythu Bima – Rs.650 Crore
MBC Corporation – Rs.1,000 crore
ENT – Dental care – Rs.5536 crore
To Gram panchayats – Rs.1,628 crore.
