Union Minister gives controversial statement on “Charminar” – Here’s what Asaduddin Owaisi tweets

Hyderabad: Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) Chief, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi slammed Union Minister of State Mr. Anant Kumar Hedge for his statement on Charminar.

Mr. Owaisi tweeted, “The only Skill Development this Minister has done is ask people to chop hands, kill people, etc. Charminar has stood tall as a symbol of Muslim contribution to the Deccan & India. It has seen thousands of Hegdes come & go, it will see another thousand”.

It may be mentioned that on Sunday, the Union Minister of State had said, “if a Hindu girl is touched by a hand, then that hand should not exist.”

Addressing a gathering, Hegde had said: “We have to rethink about priorities of our society. We shouldn’t think of caste. If a Hindu girl is touched by a hand, then that hand should not exist.”

According to the report published in DC, commenting on Charminar and Taj Mahal, he had said that Hyderabad’s historical monument was built during the times of Jains and Taj Mahal was Tejo Mahal earlier.
