Hyderabad: Hyderabad City Police has conducted a unique event, “Coffee with a Cop”. The aim of this event is to spread awareness among the women about their rights and to make them aware of the various initiatives taken by the police.
According to the report published in Times of India, this program was conducted on Friday in Chanderghat area.
Giving the details of the program, Mr. Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Hyderabad Police said that during the event, explanations were given on ‘how to protect themselves from crimes’. Purpose of SHE team and Bharosa were also explained.
It may be mentioned that around 200 women including college girls attended this event. After the discussion, cops had coffee with the girl students as it was part of the event.
On Thursday night, Mr. Anjani Kumar who was in a civil dress has reportedly walked from his office in Basheerbagh to his residence in Amberpet. During the walk, he interacted with local people, TOI reported.
