Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir): The Pakistan Army on Sunday initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector in order to facilitate an infiltration attempt.
Pak initiated fire at 5:15 PM.
The alert troops deployed along LOC detected the movement and engaged with effective automatic fire.
An army jawan got injured in the firing and has been admitted in Poonch’s Army hospital.
Search and cordon operations are in progress. (ANI)
