UPSC CSE 2017 Results: Three more Muslim candidates find place in the list

New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recommended another 66 candidates based on the results of Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2017.

Out of the 66 successful candidates, three belongs to the Muslim community and one is a Christian. These four candidates had taken coaching at Zakat Foundation of India. The names of the candidates are Syed Fraz Haider Nabi, Saqib Yousuf, Mohammed Ali, Renjina Mary Varghese.

It may be mentioned that the result of Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2017 was released on 27th April 2018 recommending 990 candidates for appointment to various services.

Now, UPSC recommended more 66 candidates. Out of these candidates, 48 belongs to General Category whereas, 16, 01, 01 belongs to OBC, SC and ST categories respectively.
