Hyderabad: Mr. B. Shafiullah, MD of Minorities Finance Corporation inaugurated the book stall of Urdu Academy at All India Industrial Exhibition yesterday. Speaking on this occasion, he told that Urdu Academy has been implementing all the schemes of development for Urdu language in a satisfactory manner. The installation of Urdu Book Stall at Exhibition also forms part of its activities.
Prof. S.A.Shukoor, Director of Urdu Academy in his speech told that Urdu Academy has been installing Urdu book stall in exhibition for the past three years. It stores Urdu books from the State and outside the state. He also told that Urdu Academy publishes calendar every year. He hoped that the Urdu lovers make use of the books kept in the stall. Mr. Mohammed Arshad Mubeen Zubairi conducted the meeting and proposed vote of thanks. Present on this occasion were Mr. Vilayath Husain, General Manager of Minorities Finance Corporation, Mr. Rafi Quraishi, Asst. PRO of Urdu Academy, Urdu writers, poets, teachers, scholars and a large number of Urdu lovers.
