US air strikes on Kunduz madrasa in Afghanistan greatest terrorist activity: Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar: National conference leader and MP Dr Farooq Abdullah strongly condemned the US air strikes on madrasa in Kunduz and termed the killing of innocent memorisers of Quran, children and religious scholars as sheer violation of human rights and the greatest terrorist activity. He also expressed concern over the silence of world nations on this genocide. Dr Abdullah said the so called cultured nations didn’t even bother to open their mouth on the worst tragedy. He said US on the pretext of war against terrorism is carrying out greatest terrorism. He expressed solidarity with the victims of the tragedy and said the people of Kashmir share the grief of the victims.

Dr Abdullah lamented that unfortunately the enemies of Muslims are united while Muslims are fighting against each other. He said the pathetic condition of Muslims in Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and Myanmar is the result of lack of unity among Muslims.

The MP said in our country also it is being tried to interfere into the family laws of Muslims. It is being tried to impose Common Civil Code on the pretext of solving triple talaq issue.
