Tehran: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says US plots in the Middle East have failed. He cited Syria, Iraq and Lebanon as clear examples. Quoting a Quranic verse that says ‘If you help Allah, Allah will help you, and establish your feet firmly’, the Iran leader said that these were the signs of the power of God and the veracity of the divine promises He made for those who are steadfast.
He was speaking at a graduation ceremony of a group of navy cadets in northern Noshahr. He further said Iran’s strong resistance against the arrogance has led to a major defeat of the goals of the global oppressors in the region.
Ayatollah Khamenei was quoted to have said, “Political analysts and intellectuals of the world are astonished at the fact that Iran, relying on God and national power, has frustrated world powers in the region – a reality which they are admitting now”.
