Use Rs 20 crore for Narsampet facelift: KTR

Hyderabad: MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao today instructed officials to prepare an action plan to provide all facilities and infrastructure in Narsampet town by October this year.

During a review meeting along with Civil Supplies Corporation chairman P Sudershan Reddy and officials, KTR said Rs 20 crore special funds have been released to Narsampet Municipality for taking up development works. He will lay foundation for development works in August and asked the officials to work out a plan to complete the related works by October.

KTR asked the officials to give priority for providing basic amenities and improved connectivity and LED lighting, park development and others. Drinking water, power supply, better roads with lighting of LED Bulbs, model markets, sanitation, and public cemetery and others are important for the town development, he said. “Use special funds and take up beautification of the town with a junction development and a park at Kummarikunta area”, he exhorted the officials.
