Uttam making hollow promises, they won’t get votes of even their own families, quips KTR

Hyderabad: Caretaker minister KT Rama Rao today ridiculed the Congress party saying that those who will not get even votes of their own family members were claiming to be chief ministerial candidates. He also said he was not able to understand whether to laugh or weep at the “tall” promises being made by the BJP leaders.

KTR was speaking after welcoming Arya Vysya community president Uppala Srinivas Gupta and some leaders and activists of other parties into the TRS fold at a program in Telangana Bhavan here. KTR invited them by offering pink shawls. He also declared that the TRS government would be solidly behind the poor families of Arya Vysya community.

Dismissing TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy’s promises as hollow and false, the minister said the Congress was trying to misguide the people and woo them for the elections sake. Refuting the Congress leaders’ allegations that the names of many voters were deleted, KTR clarified that the TRS would benefit if there are more voters in the list. Stating that the Congress leaders won’t get votes of their own families, KTR said the people would decide the fate of the political parties in the poll fray.

He said the TRS Government was working for generations to come with need-based schemes and programs. The Congress-led Mahakootami has miserably failed to come up with a common minimum program so far while the TRS leadership has started its second campaigning for the Assembly polls, he said. “We are not here to dupe the people by giving false promises and will implement those promised”, he claimed. The Congress is noted for deception and witness a failure government in all sectors. The people should be wary of the wrong perceptions of the Congress which has so far tried to stall the growth process in Telangana. The state government has implemented the promises made and those others which were not mentioned in the manifesto.

The TRS Supremo has redesigned the irrigation projects to irrigate one crore acres of land over five years however, the congress shamelessly moved courts against them. He also cited that the cases were filed in the courts in the name of dead persons which speaks belittling attitude of the congress. These facts are known to the people and will teach a lesson to the unethical alliance of the opposition parties he said. TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy is indulging in the waste talk and the people are not ready to believe him he said. He also claimed that the KCR Government has been offering world class education to about 3 lakhs of students of all sections through Gurukul Institutions.
