VH asks KCR whether he was really a Rythu Bandhu

Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao brought ‘vote for note’ case again on to the screen only to sidetrack the concentration of the people from the problems, Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao questioned KCR, who handcuffed farmers, whether he was ‘Rythu Bandhu?

The Chief Minister brought the Rythu Bandhu scheme as the elections were nearing, he said and informed that he will address letters to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamatha Benerjee, Uttar Pradesh former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and DMK leader Stalin asking them not to come to State on the occasion of Rythu Bandhu scheme launching program. He said he will explain to them as to how KCR did injustice to the farmers in the letters.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, VH said that KCR never extended help to the bereaved families of farmers. KCR failed to implement loan waiver scheme properly and also fees reimbursement scheme, he pointed out. Chief Minister had dinner with civil’s topper but never concentrated on the study circles as to how the students were facing troubles while staying in study circle hostels.

On the occasion, VH released a poster in the name of ‘Rythu Bandhu Ante Rythulaku Sankellu Veyadama?’ (whether Rythu Bandhu means handcuffing farmers?) and said that they will paste the posters across the state while taking the injustice done to farmers. (NSS)
