Expressing happiness over the verdict of 2G case, AICC secretary V Hanumantha Rao has said it was good sign for Congress party as UPA got clean chit in 2G case.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, V Hanumantha Rao has demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitly should step down from office for leveling false allegations against the Congress party with regard to 2G case. He also claimed that BJP and TRS were working together in the State. He exuded confidence that the Congress would return to power in 2019 elections. He said the Congress would extend financial assistance to Mirchi farmers of Khammam on December 29. (NSS)
