VH resents Owaisi comment against Mahakutami

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao today came down heavily on AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi for his provocative comments against the Mahakutami partners. Noting that Owaisi called the grand alliance as modern East India Company, VH wondered whether Asaduddin’s MIM party belonged to Kalwakuntla Company.

Addressing media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, Hanumantha Rao said, “I don’t understand as to why Asaduddin Owaisi is supporting TRS chief KCR so openly. He called the grand alliance as an East India Company. Does this mean that he belonged to Kalwakukntla Company formed by TRS chief KCR? I want to know if Asaduddin is the sleeping partner of CM KCR,” he lampooned. He said it was beyond his imagination as to what had prompted Owaisi to support KCR so openly in the State.

The senior Congress leader predicted a humiliating defeat for KCR in his Assembly constituency Gajwel and asserted that the Congress would form the next government in the State. He also utilized the occasion to demand adequate number of tickets to BC communities in the State. He said the BCs constitute 54 percent of the total population and all political parties should allot tickets to the BC leaders as per their population. “If we go by the percentage of BCs, all political parties should give two MP and 34 MLA seats to them. I am urging the Mahakutami to give adequate number of tickets to the BC leaders in order to win their votes,” VH, who is also a BC leader, said.
