VH slams CM’s failure to console kin of farmer in Chintamadaka

Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who ignored suicide of a farmer in his Chintamadaka village in Siddipet district, AICC secretary V Hanumantha Rao said KCR cannot do anything for the people in the State.

Speaking to the media after visiting Chintamadaka village on Thursday to console family members of the farmer, who committed suicide a couple of days ago, VH deplored suicides of farmers were continuing unabated due to indifferent attitude of the government. He said police and district officials also failed to meet the bereaved family members till date. He said the District Collector did not give an appointment to him. VH said Congress leader Sravan Kumar Reddy extended Rs 1 lakh to the bereaved family of the deceased farmer at Chintamadaka and gave Rs 50,000 each to the families of those died in Dubai.

Demanding that the State government prohibit Sunburn party to be held at Gachibowli Stadium on November 24, VH asked how it gave permission to such parties. (NSS)
