VH urges Rahul to appoint DCC chiefs soon

Hyderabad: Congress Leader V. Hanumantha Rao on Friday demanded the party high command to appoint party workers as DCC presidents. He said that a similar request made by him to the party’s state in-charge RC Kuntia and TPCC President Uttam kumar Reddy was not met with. He faulted the decision of Vonteru Pratap Reddy to leave the party.

He told the party High command to not appoint defeated leaders as the DCC presidents while noting that he would leave the party at any time. Noting that the party workers in Tamil Nadu would text when their president leaves the party, he said that a similar System should be introduced in the party. Commenting on KTR’s comments against the party, he asked as to how met anti – Telangana protagonist YS Jagan recently.
