HYDERABAD: An 18-month-old toddler battling for life after she accidentally fell off balcony of her flat in a residential building in Bahadurpura area on Sunday evening.
The baby-girl, identified as Inaya Fatima was left to play unattended on the balcony of the first floor apartment.
There were protective grill in the balcony which could have prevented the tragic accident but the child slipped through the balcony grill and fell out on the ground floor.
A neighbour immediately rushed the unconscious child to Lotus Hospital at Ladki Ka Pul where her condition is stated to be critical as she received severe injuries to her head and needs a surgery.
The matter came to light on Tuesday when 25-second CCTV footage of the chilling sight of Fatima falling surfaced and went viral.
